Using Filters
Whether large or small, sorting through your Soundpaint instrument collection is a breeze! Of course, you can use the search bar to filter the list by instrument name, program name, tag, and so on. For more ways to peruse your instruments, check out the filters at the top of the parts and programs lists.
Favorites
Use the heart icon to browse programs you have favorited. You can favorite parts and programs by using the heart icons to the left of the program/part name. This is the only filter that appears for parts as well as programs.
Filters work in both the factory and user library, so don’t forget to mark your favorite parts and programs!
Morphs
The morphed arrow icon indicates programs that include morphed parts. These programs also appear in orange text in the programs list. If you enable morph using one of the arrow icons in-between parts 1 & 2 or 3 & 4, you’ll notice that the parts and program names immediately become orange as well.
Hidden Gems
Finally, the Gem icon filters the programs list by hidden gems: programs that use parts from 2 or more instruments.
The filters and search bar work together, so if your program list is smaller than expected, or search isn’t finding the instrument you’re looking for, make sure you don’t have any unintended filters enabled.
