PART MORPHING
The Morph option allows you to modulate and combine the sound of one part using another part. Use one of the 2 arrows in-between the parts to turn on morph, and use the slider to control how much the parts are being morphed.
Effectively, the arrow on the left (pointing right) indicates that you will get more of the attack of the part on the left, and more of the sustain of the part on the right. And the opposite goes for the arrow on the left. So, in the example below, we get a sound with a piano attack that morphs into a sustaining saw.
That isn’t a 100%-accurate description of everything that morphing entails, but it is difficult to describe in words exactly how the sound is affected. Really, the best way is to try morphing out for yourself.
In this example, it’s a bit harder to tell where the sound of the Modular Percussion ends and the Braahm begins… It’s an all-new sound
MULTI MORPHING
In a single program, you can have up 4 sets of morphing parts. It’s an endless expedition of sound and creativity!
Don’t forget - You can morph your own imported parts as well! Use the Soundpaint Editor to import your own sounds, instruments, or even entire songs and morph them together into mighty musical mayhem.
