Option to restrict to actual range, include legatos in notes outside of range
When I first fired up the 1980 Tenor Sax Spectralius, I found many of the notes I was playing didn't sound good, and the legatos weren't being triggered.
It wasn't clear to me at first that I was playing outside of the instrument's actual range. And I was instead playing notes of samples extended beyond the range. It would be nice to simply have an option to toggle Actual vs. Extended range.
I created a user preset for myself by changing the Key Range to help myself become familiar with the actual range. In relations to this, I made another feature request for the keyboard at the bottom to reflect that Key Range change.
But considering the extended range as it is now, could legato samples also be reused in that range like the sustain samples are? It's understood that notes, both sustain and legatos in the extended range probably aren't going to sound as good, but if that range exists, it would be nice to have.

I have another request kind of relating to this.
Can the transitions between notes greater than an octave apart be made smoother? Either by re-using some legato samples re-pitched or using fades? When I'm freely playing, this always catches me off guard and the transition between notes is abrupt. Currently encountering this while playing the Alto Flute, which otherwise sounds lovely.
Thanks!
