Before you begin an instrument download, you must first download and install the Soundpaint Engine from the Engine tab of your account page. This will install Soundpaint, the Soundpaint Downloader, and the Soundpaint Editor. Make sure you also open soundpaint, and have logged into it with your Access Key, which can also be found on your soundpaint.com account page. With these installed, you can download libraries in several ways:
1: Automatic Download
From the menu in the top left corner of the Soundpaint app, select the download icon. This is the cloud icon with an arrow coming out of the bottom. This will open the downloader page.
Within the downloader, you can search for what library you want to install using the search bar in the top left. If a purchased library is not showing, you may need to sync the downloader with your account, which you can do by clicking the "Sync Purchases" button to the right of the search bar.
You can also filter what libraries you see using the options in the top right of the downloader. This allows you to filter for purchased, free, installed, not installed, and updated libraries.
Once you have found the library you want to install, simply click the download button to the right of its name, then pick a download location from the resulting pop-up, and the downloader will handle the rest. You can also redownload any library that is already installed by clicking the green "Installed" button.
2: Download from your Account Page
From the Instruments tab of your account page, click the DOWNLOAD button. This will automatically open the Soundpaint application.
Once open, you can follow the same steps as in section 1 to download your products.
3: Manual Download
If the other 2 download methods are not working, Manual Download codes can be generated by support staff upon request. Please note this is only done in special circumstances.
Once you open the Soundpaint Downloader (please refer back to option 1 "automatic download"), click the Manual Serial button in the bottom left.
Copy and paste the unique serial code that our support team emailed you for the library you would like to download. Choose your desired save path. Then click "Download".
